Glen Mylne
Glen Mylne LLB(Hons), the Principal, is a very accomplished lawyer with many years of experience in various legal fields such as family law, property law, administrative law and commercial law. He generally conducts the initial client interviews himself to determine how to achieve the best client outcome, and then plans the strategy. As principal, he is hands-on with every file other than routine matters. Glen is also an accredited Independent Children’s Lawyer, and has represented the best interests of children in a variety of complex cases.
Glen is a veteran of the Vietnam War and served with 8th Battalion both in Malaysia and Vietnam. 8th Battalion, variously known as “The Brisbane Battalion”, “The Ambush Battalion” or “The Grey Eight” was formed at Enoggera on 14 July 1966, and is the only battalion to have received its Queen’s and Regimental Colours outside of Australia. He was later to serve with the US Army’s 45th Medical Company (Air Ambulance).
In 1982 he represented Melbourne Tourism Authority before the Victorian Board of Inquiry into Casinos, putting the Authority’s case for a casino in Victoria. He has maintained an interest in gaming venues and has assisted in the restructure and refinancing of a number of significant RSL Clubs in Queensland.
His personal interests are photography and computing.
